Collective bargaining and environmental responsibility – challenges and perspectives for transport and public sector. CERP

Final Conference – 20.05.2025 – Online

The final conference of the project was held online and opened with a welcome from the representative of the coordinating organization. The project expert then presented an updated version of the Comparative Report, incorporating feedback from previous discussions and supported by a detailed presentation.

Following this, project partners provided their observations. Feedback focused on the need to clearly distinguish between social dialogue and collective bargaining, address country-specific inaccuracies, and ensure a consistent structure across national reports. Several partners emphasized the importance of aligning conclusions with national realities, and recommended a standardized format to enhance comparability. Concerns were also raised about the methodology, particularly the balance between interview data and desk research, and the correct interpretation of concepts such as green collective bargaining and just transition.

Subsequently, a draft policy position document, containing identified best practices and recommendations, was reviewed. Partners were invited to provide guidance for its finalization. A comparative analysis of political documents submitted by the partners was also presented, proposing a unified framework for future recommendations.

It was agreed that revised versions of both documents would be prepared for final review and approval.

The conference also included the presentation of project dissemination materials, including four infographics and a video, made available in all partner languages through the project’s website.

Finally, the coordinating organization proposed submitting a request to the European Commission for the continuation of the project, emphasizing the need to address ongoing challenges and align with long-term strategic agendas. This proposal was unanimously endorsed by all partners.
