Kick of Meeting – 30.01.2024

he Kickoff Meeting brought together representatives from various European institutions, including CSIT UNIÓN PROFESIONAL (Spain), Beograd University (Serbia), University of Thessaly (Greece), University of Lisbon (Portugal), Institute of Public Affairs (Poland), and University “Saints Cyril and Methodius” (North Macedonia). The meeting opened with introductions and a presentation of the project, which aims to improve labor relations in the context of environmental responsibility across Europe. The focus is on analyzing the impact of European green transition policies on collective bargaining and social dialogue, particularly in the public and transport sectors.

The project’s activities will include research analysis, periodic online meetings, national workshops, and a final conference. Dissemination efforts will feature newsletters, a scientific article, an infographic, and a video summary of research results. Discussions also addressed the organization of focus groups and interviews, targeting both the public and private sectors, with an emphasis on addressing workers’ concerns about job loss, professional retraining, and new occupational risks linked to the green transition.
